Serial burglar arrested, charged for at least 17 incidents across Baltimore

Baltimore Police announced the arrest of a serial burglar linked to multiple thefts across the city.

Authorities announced on March 3 that Jamal Gardner, 34, was arrested at an apartment in the 100 block of E. Fayette Street.

Gardner was charged in relation to at least 17 incidents, with additional cases still under investigation, officials reported.

A search warrant led to the recovery of property linked to 14 confirmed victims, and officials said detectives recovered personal items, including passports, state identification cards, and credit cards.

Notable items recovered during the execution of the search warrant were high-value jewelry and checks, authorities reported.

Officials said the incidents took place at four hotels in downtown Baltimore, two apartment complexes, and involved one commercial robbery.
