Seven juveniles charged with assault after fight in Towson

TOWSON, Md. (WBFF) — Baltimore County Police say seven juveniles have been charged with assault after officers responded to a fight in Towson.

Police said officers were called at about 3:40 p.m. to the unit block of Lambourne Road for a “physical disturbance.” The department said it is believed the juveniles involved are known to each other and that the investigation remains ongoing.

The incident drew attention after a social media video taken Monday around 3:30 p.m. outside the Towson Promenade appeared to show a group of juveniles surrounding one individual and beating them on a public sidewalk.

A police spokesperson said the department was not able to verify the social media video.
