BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A student was arrested at Dunbar High School after being found with a handgun, according to Baltimore City Public Schools.
On Monday, Feb. 2, school staff received a report of a possible weapon and promptly informed School Police.
School officials say that officers swiftly found the student, who admitted to having the handgun.

The weapon was safely recovered, and the student was taken into custody without incident.

A BCPSS spokesperson stated that the safety of students and staff was never compromised, and the situation was handled in accordance with district safety protocols.
