ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Two students were reportedly involved in a stabbing at Great Mills High School, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies said the situation is contained and there is no additional threat at this time.
One student was flown to an area hospital for evaluation of injuries that appear to be non-life-threatening, and a suspect had been taken into custody.

Deputies remained at the school as the investigation continued.
The sheriff’s office said it is coordinating with St. Mary’s County Public Schools and that more information will be released as it becomes available.
