Business owners in Fells Point woke up Friday to find bags of rocks with notes threatening about “teen takeovers” signed by a Ku Klux Klan-affiliated group.

“Teen take overs should result in teen chain gangs,” the note read. “Try and spit on our faces.”

A business owner, who showed The Baltimore Sun a picture of the note on the condition of anonymity, said they found one bag while watering their plants, but several bags were found in the area of Thames Street and Broadway. The owner filed a police report and provided one bag to the authorities. The others went into the trash, the owner said.

Baltimore Police confirmed at least one package was found Friday. Officers responded around 12 p.m. to the 1600 block of Thames Street following a report of a suspicious package. After reviewing security camera footage, police said they saw a silver Jeep driving through the area around 2:30 a.m. and dropping a package out their window. The investigation remains active, police said.
