BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A Maryland transit supervisor killed in Baltimore last week was shot in front of his youngest daughter, the victim’s brother told The Baltimore Sun.
Dominic Rhames, a 42-year-old father of four who was recently promoted to a superintendent role in the Maryland Transit Administration, was shot July 20 in the 2400 block of Perring Manor Road. Police said he was pronounced dead after medics were called to the scene.
“It’s very unexpected,” Dwayne Rhames, the victim’s brother, said to The Baltimore Sun on Friday. “Just something nobody was prepared for.”
The brother said Dominic Rhames and his son had gone to Perring Manor Road the night he died to check on his ex-wife, his childhood sweetheart, whom they believed had been physically hurt by another partner.
