ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) — Nearly 1,100 midshipmen graduated from the Naval Academy on Friday, marking their commissioning as officers into either the Navy or Marine Corps.
For the graduates, the ceremony represented the culmination of a four or even five-year journey.
Landon Robinson, a Navy football defensive tackle who was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals, said: “It’s been a whole lot of blood, sweat, and tears.”
“You form so many deep bonds with people as you make your way through here,” Robinson said. “We all grow together.”
