SUN: Tom McMillen appears in newly released Epstein records, says contact ended in 1990s

Former Maryland basketball star and U.S. Rep. Tom McMillen appears in newly released records connected to Jeffrey Epstein.

In files released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday, the convicted sex offender asks McMillen via email, β€œwhen are you in ny,” on Feb. 27, 2013.

The former representative previously downplayed any relationship with the convicted sex offender, saying that their most recent contact dated back to the early 1990s. But he responded later that 2013 day, writing, β€œI just got back from Costa Rica and heading to cabo in a week so it may be late March. Hope you are well.”

In an interview Sunday with The Baltimore Sun, McMillen, 73, described the email as dismissive toward Epstein β€” who by then already pleaded guilty in 2008 to Florida charges involving solicitation of a minor.
