BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Crews are battling a two-alarm fire at a vacant rowhome in West Baltimore on Sunday morning.
According to the Baltimore City Fire Department, units responded shortly after 9:45 a.m. to a Code X fire in the 2900 block of Westwood Avenue.
Officials say the severity of the blaze prompted a second alarm response, bringing additional firefighters and equipment to the scene.
There is no immediate word on injuries.
Authorities are urging residents to avoid the area to allow emergency crews to work safely.
