
(WBFF) — A suspect was arrested following an early morning stabbing that left a 22-year-old dead, police said.
Officers responded to the 1700 block of Edgewood Road around 4:05 a.m. “for a check location call,” according to a statement.

There, officers located both the suspect and victim. 22-year-old Ebrima Loppy was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining a stab wound to the upper body.
The suspect was not identified.

Police said this “was an isolated incident stemming from a dispute,” and that charges against the arrested individual are pending.
