Teen ‘very much alive’ after being struck by vehicle in Prince George’s County

A teen was seriously injured after police said he was struck by a vehicle in the Forest Heights area of Prince George’s County, Maryland, on Monday.

Roads were closed along the northbound Indian Head Highway at Audrey Lane at around 8:40 p.m. after officials learned of a teen who was involved in a crash. Officials confirmed the crash was not a hit-and-run.

A police official said the teen was in near-critical condition but “very much alive” after the crash. A crash team was also sent to the scene to aid the investigation, the police official said.

An investigation is ongoing.
