Thousands without power after severe weather hits Maryland

MARYLAND (WBFF) — Thousands of people are without power across Maryland after severe weather hit the state on Thursday.

According to the BGE Outage map, 12,630 people across the area were without electricity as of Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.

In Anne Arundel County, 8,114 customers remain affected, representing the largest impact.

3,403 people are without power in Prince George’s County.
