Three men were arrested and facing charges in connection to thefts and drug possession in Harford County.

On April 17, around 4 p.m., police were dispatched to a store on Constant Friendship Boulevard in Abingdon for a reported theft.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the store’s loss prevention.

They said that three men had stolen merchandise from the store before leaving in a vehicle and pulling into the parking lot of another nearby store.

Police found the vehicle unoccupied at the store and began searching for the suspects.

Inside that store, officers found one suspect leaving with unpaid merchandise, and outside the location, police found the other two suspects.

They were identified as Raymond McLemore, 38, of Rising Sun, Wallace Johnson, Jr., 63, of Baltimore, and John McCauley Jr., 45, of White Marsh.

Authorities said they determined that the men had worked together to steal over $1,600 of merchandise from one store and over $800 worth of merchandise from a second store.

McLemore, who initially provided a fake name, was wearing a jersey that he admitted to stealing from the second store.

When police searched the suspects’ vehicle for merchandise, they found narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, all three men were arrested and taken to the Detention Center.

McLemore and Johnson were held without bond, and McCauley was released on an unsecured bond.
