Towson armed robbery leaves man hospitalized, police say

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Towson that left a man hospitalized early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

On May 23, at around 2 a.m., police responded to the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard for a reported armed robbery.

Once officers arrived, police said they located an adult male employee with an injury to his abdomen.

Preliminary investigation indicated that a suspect discharged a firearm during a robbery, grazing the victim’s upper body, authorities reported.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
