TOWSON, Md. (WBFF) — Towson University is under a shelter-in-place Sunday night following a shooting along York Road.
Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department were called to the 8000 block of York Road on September 27 for a reported shooting, police said.
A male was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition, according to authorities. The victim’s age is currently unknown.
No suspect information was shared to the public.
School officials warned the community to immediately shelter-in-place and close any windows or doors. People should also report anything unusual to the police.
Community members were asked to await further direction from local authorities.
