TOWSON, Md. (WBFF) — Residents at the Donnybrook Apartments on Knollwood Road in Towson say they are on edge after a string of incidents in which several female Towson University students reported men peeping into apartment windows and possibly recording them.
“I definitely went downstairs and made sure all my doors were locked after that,” one resident said.
Another said, “I just feel like it’s very uncomfortable, very concerning.”

A potential suspect was captured on Ring camera video outside a window at the off-campus apartment building. The man’s face was blurred in our newscast because police have not charged anyone in connection with the case.
Chloe White said her Ring cameras also captured images of a man outside her apartment.
Absolutely terrifying. Absolutely terrifying, I’m terrified that things could escalate,” White said.
White said the incidents have been happening for the past six months and became public after she reached out to the media. She said the latest incident happened three days ago and described it as frightening and disturbing.
“I feel like it’s mostly disturbing because I have seen someone filming me through my own windows and other people have reported seeing people filming through our windows and specifically like my roommate’s window, my window and I’m terrified that there’s footage of us undressed,” White said.
Police said they are working to identify and apprehend potential suspects. In the meantime, they are asking residents to take precautions, including locking and securing all windows and doors.
“That’s disgusting one. I mean, that’s obviously no one else’s private like that’s a violation of anyone’s privacy,” Kate Hanks, a concerned student, said.
White said the situation has affected her daily life.
“It’s hard to sleep at night. I frequently wake up in the middle of the night to check my Ring cameras. Every time my alarms go off, I go into a little panic. It’s been difficult and I feel unsafe,” she said.
Aliyah Dyer, another concerned student, said she wants an arrest.
Oh, I would love to see this guy caught. I haven’t seen him and I hope to never see him. And I really hope that they find these people,” Dyer said.
Apartment management said it is fully cooperating with police in the investigation. A resident also said additional lighting was installed behind at least one building.
