Weekday downtown Baltimore lane closures Feb. 23-27

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation announced weekday lane and road closures in downtown Baltimore.

Downtown lane closures scheduled for the week of February 23 – February 27, 2026, include:

  • Baltimore Street eastbound left lane closures at Eutaw Street daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
  • Eutaw Street southbound right lane closures at Baltimore Street daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
  • Guilford Avenue southbound left lane closure at Baltimore Street daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
  • Guilford Avenue reduced to one travel lane (full time) between E. Lexington and E. Fayette Streets.
  • N. Charles Street right lane closure (full time) between Saratoga and Pleasant Streets (utility work).

The CIAA Basketball tournament begins on Tuesday, February 24, at the CFG Bank Arena.

Heavy traffic is expected around the area for the tournament from Tuesday, February 24th, through Saturday, February 28, 2026, as games will be held throughout the week.

The following lane closures will be implemented Tuesday, February 24, through Friday, February 27, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. each night in the vicinity of the CFG Bank Arena:

On Saturday, February 28, the lane closures listed below will also be implemented from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • Howard Street left lane closure from Camden to Pratt Streets
  • Lombard Street right lane closure from Hopkins Place to Howard Street
  • Baltimore Street left lane closure from Howard Street to Park Avenue
  • Pratt Street left lane closure from Eutaw to Howard Streets

Those attending CIAA events are encouraged to use the city’s Charm City Circulator as the Orange route will take riders directly to the CFG Bank Arena.

Attendees driving to the event should park in the area garages in the vicinity of the CFG Bank Arena.

Drivers in downtown Baltimore should be on the lookout for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use different routes.
