
PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A woman has died following a house fire that broke out Sunday morning in Chillum, according to Prince George’s County Fire and EMS.
Firefighters were called around 9:36 a.m. to a two-story single-family home in the 900 block of Somerset Place, where fire was showing from the basement. Crews quickly knocked down the flames.

Three adults, two men and a woman, were removed from the home and taken to nearby hospitals in critical condition, fire officials said. Authorities later confirmed the woman died from her injuries.
The two men remained hospitalized in critical but stable condition, PGFD officials said.

Fire investigators are working to find out what led to the blaze. Prince George’s County and Fire EMS said crews will return to the neighborhood on Monday for post-incident outreach.
