Two women have been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $11,000 worth of items from Ulta Beauty stores in Maryland, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday.

On Dec. 12, 2025 around 1:07 p.m., deputies responded to the Ulta Beauty located at 6400 Ridge Road in Sykesville for a report of a theft that just occurred.

Before arriving to the store, deputies were told the suspects had fled in a black-colored Infinity. A Sykesville Police Department officer saw a vehicle matching that description traveling southbound on Route 32 towards Howard County. The officer provided the Maryland temporary registration that was seen on the vehicle, according to officials.

Deputies located a possible address for the vehicle, and Howard County Police Department officers located the vehicle at the address in Jessup. Detectives with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded and helped with a search warrant for the address and vehicles. The warrant resulted in the recovery of more than $11,000 worth of merchandise from the Ulta Beauty Sykesville location as well as several regional stores.

The suspects were identified as 23-year-old Dasjanae Teona Timmons, of Jessup, and 23-year-old Dahmira Monya Laboo, of Severn. Officials said a warrant was obtained for both women, charging them with theft ($1,500-$25,0000 and organized retail theft. Both are felony charges.

On Dec. 17, 2025, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit apprehended Timmons and transported her to Carroll County Central Booking where she was served with the warrant.

On Wednesday, Laboo was found in Severn and taken into custody by the Warrant Unit. Officials said she was transported to Carroll County Central Booking where she was also served with a warrant. When Laboo arrived at Central Booking, deputies said she was found to be in possession of items “suspected to be Suboxone, a controlled dangerous substance.” She was then charged with three counts related to misdemeanor possession.

Both suspects remain at the Carroll County Detention Center without bond, according to deputies.
