
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WJAR) — The Pawtucket Police Department said that one of the victims who was in critical condition after the deadly shooting at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena ice rink on Feb. 16 had died.
75-year-old Gerald Dorgan died from injuries he suffered after his son-in-law Robert Dorgan shot and killed his ex-wife, Rhonda Dorgan, and adult son, Aidan Dorgan, as a hockey game.

Robert Dorgan also died on the scene.
Gerald was brought to the hospital in critical condition alongside his wife, Linda, and family friend Thomas Geruso.
Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien released the following statement on Gerald’s death:

“We are heartbroken to learn that another life has been lost as a result of last Monday’s senseless shooting at Lynch Arena. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the victim’s family, friends, and all those impacted by this tragic act of violence.”
