Islamophobia is not a thing. Just like “transphobia” and “homophobia,” no one has an irrational fear of Islam. It’s perfectly rational to fear and question a sociopolitical ideology that masquerades as a religion, especially one that oppresses women, kills gays and non-believers, and commits acts of terrorism around the globe.
But these days, “Islamophobia” is a catch-all phrase for any critics of Islam, and what it boils down to is this: “If you don’t let Muslims have their way, you’re a bigot.”
Anti-Islam protester Jake Lang went to Dearborn to protest the Islamist takeover there. Whatever you think about Lang’s beliefs and his methods, the fact remains he has a right to criticize and protest Islam. And it’s clear the Islamists fear him. When Lang held a protest in NYC, a terrorist tried to blow him and others up with a homemade bomb.
But what Lang is doing is not Islamophobia, no matter how much Rashida Tlaib squawks that it is.
Islamophobia is a problem among both Democrats and Republicans.
The silence in Michigan among state leaders while one of the largest cities in the state is being terrorized by Islamophobes is shameful.

Islam is not compatible with the American Constitution or Western values. As we’ve seen in Europe, Islamist men have raped hundreds of thousands of women and girls — often aided and abetted by local authorities who live in fear of being called “racist.” In Afghanistan, women are not allowed to leave their houses; they can’t even be seen through the windows of their houses. They can’t get an education, and they can’t hold jobs. They are even denied medical care because women can’t be doctors, and male doctors aren’t allowed to touch women.

When I was in Egypt, even the airports had sex-segregated lines for men and women. Not just same-sex security agents patting us down, although that happened too. But separate lines for women and men.
In Texas, an imam goes around harassing business owners, demanding they stop selling pork, alcohol, and lottery tickets because all those things are haram. In many states and even in federal programs, financial institutions offer “Sharia-compliant” products and services. That means Muslims don’t have to pay interest, which is also haram, and the costs are likely passed on to others who use the services.
In Germany, an Islamic preacher laments that the nation’s laws prevent him from stoning “adulterous” women. But he vows that when enough Islamists gain power, they will make Sharia law German law, including the stoning. Here’s where I’d like to remind my readers and the leftists out there that being raped, under Sharia law, is considered adultery unless four Muslim men testify it was, in fact, rape.
Good luck.
Not one leftist condemns any of this, of course. In the U.K., they dismiss the 250,000 girls assaulted, raped, and trafficked by Islamic grooming gangs as either “not happening” or happening to a lower-class of girl who somehow deserved it. Others have suggested putting brothels in these areas to curb sexual assaults, including a former Conservative MP, Edwina Currie.

It’s insane and revealing. So sex workers can be abused and mistreated by Islamists, because they’re not as important as other demographic groups.
The Daily Mail ran an op-ed recently that said even talking about the Islamic rape problem seemed “taboo,” and I pointed out then that the solution to the problem would go one of only two ways: the deportation of the Islamists, or the forced subjugation of women under Sharia law. My opinion was Western nations would chose the latter, and Currie backs up my hypothesis. So does Melissa Chaudhry, who is running for Congress in Washington’s 9th District. Someone noticed that LGBTQ issues were missing from her campaign website. Chaudhry not only confirmed they were, but said the omission was meant to appease Muslims in her district.
At the same time, Chaudhry insists LGBTQ rights are “safe” with her. They are not, of course. Islamists will always win the intersectionality game, if for no other reason than they tend to get violent when they don’t get their way. The gay community, women, and anyone who isn’t a Muslim will — by design — become a second-class citizen. If they’re lucky.
I’ve long argued that America-hating leftists were going to use Islamists to do their dirty work of destroying America. They didn’t think this through to its logical conclusion, of course. Under Sharia law, not only is pork, gambling, and alcohol banned, but women have no rights (see: Afghanistan), non-Muslims have no rights (see: any Islamic nation), and every pet cause of the Left will be haram, too. If the Left thinks they can use Islam to get their way and then go on with life in a leftist utopia, they’re in for a rude awakening.
Perhaps that’s why some Democrats, who actually care about the LGBTQ community and votes from a black community not keen on Islam, either (look at how Detroit voted in the recent primary), aren’t speaking out to Tlaib’s liking.
Lang isn’t the problem here, provocateur though he may be. He’s pointing to a problem that’s on the horizon, and one we must address if, a quarter century after 9/11, we’re to continue preserving the American way of life. That should be a bipartisan issue.
