(TNND) — If you’ve made your Christmas list already and are checking it twice, here are a few of the things that people really want for Christmas.
Google’s annual Holiday 100 list and consumer trend reports show what Americans are most searching for this season — and it’s a mix of tech gadgets, beauty products, home comforts and nostalgia-driven classics.
Tech gadgets are dominating search engines as the Nintendo Switch 2 and Google Pixel Watch 4 were the most searched products. Other top trending items include smart rings and compact photo printers.
Trend data also shows that home entertainment products like LED projectors saw significant search spikes, with some categories up nearly 900% compared to prior periods.
Beauty items also claimed a prominent place in holiday wish lists this year. Products from brands such as Rhode and Glossier — including trending serums and fragrances — appear frequently in searches, with interest in skincare and makeup reaching record highs.
Searches for cozy home items and lifestyle accessories were also elevated, according to trend reports. Packing cubes and luggage tags likely appealed to travelers and organization enthusiasts. Comfort-focused products ranging from espresso cup sets to blankets also ranked high in Google’s data.

Notably, broader consumer surveys and lifestyle reporting suggest younger generations are redefining what they want from the holidays. A recent report highlights Gen Z’s tendency to spend less on physical gifts and focus more on quality time and experiences — partially due to economic pressures and shifting values.
