U.S. Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino said that federal agents were not done with Chicago yet and plan to be there for years to come.

“If you think we’re done with Chicago, you’d better check yourself before you wreck yourself,” he wrote Tuesday on the social media platform, X.

“Don’t call it a comeback; we’re gonna be here for years.”

Bovino posted a video of immigration officers carrying out arrests with the song “Mama Said Knock You Out” by LL Cool J. playing in the background.

Earlier this month, the Supreme Court ruled not to allow the Trump administration to send the National Guard to Chicago for a crackdown on crime and immigration.

However, the Supreme Court’s ruling isn’t final.

President Donald Trump has sent the National Guard to other cities in the country, including Memphis, Tennessee and Washington, D.C.

Recently, another court backed Trump and said that Washington, D.C., can’t stop the National Guard from coming into the city.

Louisiana Republican Gov. Jeff Landry requested the deployment of 350 National Guard troops to his state before major events, including New Year’s Eve and Mardi Gras.

“They will be there for New Year’s Eve because they will be there for deployment through February, which we desperately need,” Landry said. “We know how to make cities safe, and the national guard complements cities that are having high crime problems.”
