A new study from Hallow, one of the most widely used prayer apps to date, shows that Catholicism is undergoing a massive resurgence on college campuses across the country.

Schools that reported data to Hallow showed that their Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) programs had an increased enrollment of 115 percent in the 2024-2025 school year. The trend has continued into 2026, with another reported increase of 87.6 percent.
The school leading the way is Texas A&M University, that reported having 121 OCIA participants in 2025 to 201 participants in 2026. Other schools, like Arizona State, Kansas State, Harvard, Ole Miss, and Stanford, all reported exponential increases to their class sizes.
Trends similarly showed that Mass attendance has skyrocketed amongst college students as well. Texas A&M saw thousands of college students attend services during their first week back on campus.

Due to the work of university missionary organizations like the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, which sends missionaries to many of the schools listed in the 60-college study, the Gospel is reaching a new generation of college-aged youth in a mass Christian revival across the country.
