MINNEAPOLIS (TNND) — A dog kennel worker in Minnesota allegedly wrote an anti-immigration enforcement message on a feeding chart after learning that an animal in their care was a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) K-9.
That’s according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
“THEY’RE EVEN GOING AFTER THE DOGS! In Minneapolis, anti-ICE agitators are targeting our @CBP K-9s, including K-9 Dina, pictured here,” DHS wrote on social media.
“At the kennel where K-9 Dina was staying, it was discovered that an employee had written ‘ICE OUT’ on her feed chart,” the post, which included a photo of the chart and a handwritten note, added.

DHS did not name the kennel in the post, which was shared on X late Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
As of 5:45 p.m., several people commented, saying whomever wrote the anti-ICE message should be terminated.
“I hope the facility has fired the person responsible and black balled her from ever working with animals again,” one person wrote.
“What??! That person needs to be fired. Unacceptable,” another added.

A third commenter said the kennel should be shut down.
“If they’re doing that, they’re probably hurting the dogs just out of spite!”
Another described the note as “evil,” while someone else offered to take care of the K-9 and other police dogs.
“It’s not convenient but I live in the middle of nowhere with lots of space if the dogs wanna hang out here,” the commenter wrote. “Lots of belly rubs and stuff to chase when they get bored.”
Other commenters questioned the sanity of the kennel worker, as well as anyone who is anti-CBP or anti-ICE, calling the behavior “demented” and “crazy.”
“These people are sick and they are getting worse by the day!” one wrote.
A second shared similar sentiments.
“These people are a whole new level of twisted,” according to the comment. “They just want to bully, intimidate, harass, and assault people until they get their way. Literally anyone is on the table in their quest to get their way. I’d say going after dogs is a new low, but lately nothing surprises me.”
The alleged incident happened amid President Donald Trump’s ongoing crime crackdown in Minnesota.
It also comes two weeks after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good during a raid in Minneapolis.

The agent, who has been identified as Jonathan Ross, fired his gun after Good allegedly tried to ram him and other officers with her SUV. Ross reportedly suffered internal bleeding when he was hit by her vehicle.
