WASHINGTON (TNND) — The Department of Justice on Friday announced the charges of 30 more people involved in storming a church in Minnesota to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
“Today, @thejusticedept unsealed an indictment charging 30 more people who took part in the attack on Cities Church in Minnesota,” Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on the social media platform, X.
Last month, anti-ICE protesters stormed Cities Church in Minnesota and accused the pastor of being the acting ICE field office director in the state.
Former CNN host Don Lemon, who was at the church when this happened, was charged with federal rights crimes after being accused of participating at an anti-ICE protest at a church.
However, Lemon said he was not taking a part in the protest, but covering it. He was released from custody earlier this month.
Reporter Georgia Fort and Minnesota county employee Jamael Lundy were also arrested for their connection to the incident.

“YOU CANNOT ATTACK A HOUSE OF WORSHIP. If you do so, you cannot hide from us — we will find you, arrest you, and prosecute you,” Bondi’s post concluded. “This Department of Justice STANDS for Christians and all Americans of faith.”
