Fetterman calls on Trump to fire Noem

Pennsylvania’s Democratic Sen. John Fetterman is calling on President Donald Trump to fire Department of Homeland Security Director Kristi Noem.

Fetterman’s office released the following statement Tuesday:

“Today, following the tragedies in Minnesota and the incompetence of the Department of Homeland Security under Secretary Noem, U.S. Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) released the following statement:

‘President Trump: I make a direct appeal to immediately fire Secretary Noem.

‘Americans have died.

‘She is betraying DHS’s core mission and trashing your border security legacy.

‘DO NOT make the mistake President Biden made for not firing a grossly incompetent DHS Secretary.'”
