WASHINGTON (TNND) — First Lady Melania Trump is set to meet with freed American-Israeli hostage Keith Siegel on Wednesday afternoon.
Siegel was captured by Hamas during the deadly October 7 attacks against Israel in 2023. Hamas released Keith Siegel in February 2025 after 15 months in captivity as part of a U.S.-brokered ceasefire with Israel.
Melania Trump previously met with Siegel’s wife, Aviva Siegel, a few weeks before President Donald Trump started his second term in office.
Aviva was released during a brief ceasefire in November 2023, shortly after the terrorist group launched the attack, which claimed the lives of nearly 1,200 people. More than 250 others were taken hostage.
The first lady included footage of her meeting with Siegel’s wife in “Melania,” a new documentary that opened in theaters last week.
The documentary earned $7 million during its opening weekend, according to estimates released on Sunday by Amazon MGM Studios.
