Four arrested, narcotics seized in Massachusetts warrant search

Authorities in North Adams, Massachusetts, executed a significant drug bust on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, leading to the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of substantial quantities of narcotics and cash.

The operation, conducted by the North Adams Police Department, Berkshire County Drug Task Force, and Berkshire County Special Response Team, took place at 221 Church St.

During the search, investigators discovered seven people inside the residence. Imari Williams, of Springfield, Mass., was found in a bathroom, where he allegedly attempted to flush cocaine down the toilet. White powder residue, believed to be cocaine, was found on Williams’ hands and throughout the bathroom.

The search yielded approximately 4,440 bags of heroin/fentanyl, weighing around 88 grams, $2,288 in cash, and digital scales along with cocaine distribution materials.

The following individuals were arrested and charged:

  • Imari Williams: Trafficking heroin/fentanyl (36-100 grams), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, conspiracy, and destruction of evidence.
  • Zachary Ackerman, of North Adams: Trafficking heroin/fentanyl (36-100 grams), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, and conspiracy.
  • Caitlin Morse, of North Adams: Trafficking heroin/fentanyl (36-100 grams), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, and conspiracy.
  • David Cellana, of North Adams: Arrested on three outstanding warrants.
