Import the Third World, Become the Third World

But we’re going to put a pin in those plans because the FBI recently arrested Sheikhdoon Abdullah Mohamud for allegedly planning a mass casualty event at the mall in support of the terrorist group ISIS. Mohamud planned to go to the mall and shoot shoppers and had an AK-47 and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

This comes on the heels of at least two high-profile shootings involving Somali gangs in the state. That problem — long hushed up by the media — is so bad in Ramsey County that Sheriff Bob Fletcher formed a unit to specifically deal with Somali gang-related violence.

As far as Mohamud is concerned, he was born in America to Somali immigrant parents who refused to cooperate with authorities who expressed concerns about their son’s potential radicalization. That was last year, by the way. They were naturalized in 2008.

That Mohamud’s parents refuse to accept responsibility for their son’s terroristic tendencies is not a surprise to me. In response to the Somali gang problem, the Somali community in Minnesota blamed American culture for the violence.

They also said that Somalis simply “work too hard” in America, which is why their children are shooting one another.

Bull. 85 percent of Somalis are on welfare, and the other 15 percent are robbing us blind with fraud. I suppose running a sham daycare or autism center is exhausting work, though.

What this entire Somali episode shows us is that we not only have a problem with illegal immigration, but a problem with legal immigration from certain nations, too. But don’t tell that to David J. Bier of the Cato Institute.

He’s very mad we’re aware of the Mohamud family’s immigration status.

That’s not surprising. Bier is the same guy who blamed illegal immigration on America’s immigration laws, an ideological argument akin to saying that woman deserve to be raped because she wore a tight dress.

Legal immigration should be impossible to obtain, and this thwarted terrorist attack proves it. Gang violence is the norm in Somali, as is fraud and corruption and the lazy mentality that makes a majority of Minnesota’s Somali community dependent on the taxpayers for their survival.

But as I have pointed out numerous times, the destruction is the point. Democrats want to import the Third World so that we become the Third World — a place rife with violence, corruption, civil unrest, oppression, and vast swaths of poverty. They hate our exceptionalism. They hate our standard of living, and they hate that we’re better than the rest of the world.

And because it’s impossible to get the rest of the world to improve, they’ve chosen to knock us down a peg or two. That mentality has already killed people, and it could have killed dozens more at the Mall of America.

That Somalia is a corrupt, violent hellhole is not our fault, nor is it our problem to solve, and that includes important Somalis here so they can get a “better life.” We’ve seen how grateful they are for that, complaining that cutting off fraudulent welfare programs is “racist” and saying their American-born children are violent gang thugs because of the American education system that provides them with free schooling and meals.

America has every right to enforce its immigration laws as written, and if they’re so tough it filters out Third World garbage like this wannabe ISIS terrorist and his family, so be it.
