A new report from the Washington Free Beacon revealed that Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico once headlined an event featuring an 11-year-old “drag queen” at a bar in Taylor, Texas.

The 2021 event, hosted by Taylor PRIDE, advertised the event as a “party” with a “groovy musical scene” that featured Talarico speaking alongside “the absolute cutest & youngest of our drag performers Kween Kee Kee,” a local 11-year-old who dressed in drag.
According to another promotional post from Taylor Pride, Kween Kee Kee’s appearance at the event consisted of “performing a number” as well as hosting “Kee Kee Storytime at Good Strangers where children will find lots of PRIDE inspired craft activities.”
For years, conservatives in the Texas Legislature have worked hard for years attempting to ban “drag queen story hours” intended for an audience of children. A bill was passed to bring an end to the practice in 2023, but has faced numerous legal challenges regarding its enforcement.
Meanwhile, Talarico’s history of promoting the disturbing gender ideology of the radical left runs deep. A now infamous podcast clip of Talarico revealed that one of his greatest loves was “trans children.” Talarico has advocated for abortion access for the “trans community,” and has considered restrictions on access to gender transitioning medical practices to be “bullying” that is sinful and that Jesus Christ would oppose.

Talarico and Paxton will face off in the November midterm elections for control over the U.S. Senate seat in Texas.
