“We’re overwhelmed — in the best way possible — by the amazing people we’ve met and the outpouring of support you’ve shown us. These are the moments you pray for. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.”

The owner of the restaurant, John Minadakis, said they would be honored to serve members of Team USA.

“Whether they come to Jimmy’s or decide to do it through our mail-order system, we’d be more than honored to serve those men and women,” he said.

The men’s USA hockey team will be attending President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday evening. The women’s team could not attend due to a scheduling conflict.

The team took a picture at the White House titled, “CHAMPIONS IN THE HOUSE.”

The hockey players also took a picture with Trump. The picture is captioned, “And no, we’re not tired of winning yet.”
