WASHINGTON (TNND) — Kid Rock, who performed at Turning Point USA’s Super Bowl halftime show, said that he didn’t lip sync during the performance and that the performance was pre-recorded.
“My halftime performance was pre recorded but performed live,” he wrote on the social media platform, X.
In the video posted on X, Kid Rock said the sync was off, addressing allegations that he lip-sang during his performance.
“I know these guys had a difficult time getting that sync together,” he said in the video.
Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec backed up Kid Rock on social media.
“I have footage from the set that confirms you were singing it live and there was no sync issue in person at all,” he wrote on X.
Turning Point USA hosted an alternative halftime show as Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny was the main performer for the Super Bowl.
Other performers included country singer Gabby Barrett, Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert.
