Representatives Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and Ro Khanna, D-Calif., on Thursday requested a meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche about why specific names were redacted in the release of the Epstein files.

“.@RepThomasMassie and I have requested a meeting with @DAGToddBlancheto ask why the senders of these emails have been redacted,” Khanna wrote on the social media platform, X Thursday.

He posted a screenshot of two emails that had two redacted names that were in correspondence with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The first email is from a redacted name to Epstein that reads:

“New Brazilian just arrived, sexy and cute,+=9yo.”

The second email is to a redacted name from Epstein that reads:

“Thank you for a fun night. Your littlest girl was a little naughty.”

The first email was sent in 2013 while the second was sent in 2014.

“Concealing the reputations of these powerful men is a blatant violation of the Epstein Transparency Act we passed,” Khanna’s post concluded.

Massie and Khanna launched a bipartisan effort last year to have the Epstein files released. The Epstein Transparency Act was signed last year and last week the Department of Justice released millions of documents regarding Epstein’s communications.

Epstein was charged with sex trafficking minors in 2019.
