SACO, Maine (WGME) — ICE says it has arrested more than 200 people in Maine as it continues targeting what it calls “the worst of the worst.”
According to the First Parish Church of Saco, a man, who the church says is one of its members, was on the way to the hospital to bring items to his wife and newborn baby when he was detained by ICE.
According to a GoFundMe page, his wife is now alone in the hospital with the newborn and the couple’s three other children, ages 3, 6 and 11.

The Department of Homeland Security (DH) said last week ICE is targeting around 1,400 people in the state.
CBS13 has asked three times for a full list of those arrested in Maine and what they are being charged with.
DHS finally responded on Monday. We were not given that information.
But DHS did say:
βThe brave men and women of ICE have already arrested more than 200 illegal aliens in Maine in the last five days. Some of the arrests of the worst of the worst. From the first day of operations include criminal illegal aliens charged and convicted of horrific crimes including aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and endangering the welfare of a child.β

ICE then included the same four mug shots it already released last week without providing any new names or mug shots of those additional 200-plus arrests.
