A Honduran national was arrested Monday after deputies say he intentionally set a motorbike on fire outside a mosque.

Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office say that at 7:06 p.m., they received a 911 call reporting that someone had intentionally lit a motorbike on fire outside the Muslim Community of Palm Beach County mosque near 4800 Purdy Lane in unincorporated Palm Beach County.

Palm Beach Fire Rescue units say they quickly responded to the scene and extinguished the flames, which fully engulfed the motorbike.

Deputies reportedly made contact with the 911 caller, who described the suspect as a white man wearing a white sweater and blue pants.

The fire investigator later confirmed that the fire was intentionally set and that he intentionally walked away from the fully engulfed fire, according to the criminal probable cause affidavit.
