Conservative influencer Nick Sortor alleged that he was robbed by a Minneapolis protester who reportedly stole his camera.

“BREAKING: A group of Somali thugs just ROBBED me of my $1,000 camera in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis,” Sortor wrote on X.

The X post had a video attached that showed Sortor trying to get it back and him having his hand trapped in the alleged thief’s car handle as they tried to drive away.

“They then DRAGGED ME DOWN THE STREET as my hand got trapped in their door handle,” his post concluded. “NOBODY bothered helping. DHS MUST RAID THIS PLACE!”

Last week, Sortor posted a video where he was surrounded by anti-Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) protesters in Minneapolis while in his car.

He is most well known for covering riots and protests. He has more than 1 million followers on X.

Minnesota has been in the news over the past few weeks due to immigration crackdowns in the state.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced that there would be more ICE agents sent to the city.

This comes after the death of Renee Good, a protester who was shot by ICE agent Jonathan Ross. A DHS spokesperson said that Good was shot after she tried to run over Ross with her car.

The FBI is leading an investigation into the incident.
