I have family who live in Duluth that I haven’t seen in years. My aunt came down to visit in 1989 when I was six years old. She died in 2011 and that’s the last time I saw my cousins. One of them is a die-hard leftist who rants about Trump and Republicans on Facebook. Or so I’m told. She blocked me on all social media ages ago, and that’s fine. It saves me time poking holes in her ridiculous arguments.
I used to think this was just a one-off. Every family has their oddballs, after all. But now I’m starting to think this wasn’t just a bad branch of my family tree and that the entire state of Minnesota is entirely bat-guano insane. Is it something in the water? Do the harsh winters make people go insane? There has to be an explanation for how a state could collectively go so far off the deep end.
This includes the state’s WNBA team, the Lynx, and its coach, Cheryl Reeve. The WNBA hasn’t exactly covered itself in glory … well, ever. But it’s somehow managed to make it even worse by being full of woke women like Reeve.

There’s one part of her remarks I’d like to specifically address.
“I don’t think we should feel like our safe space is being threatened,” Reeve said. “It’s not the case that we have quote biological men in girls’ locker rooms. The way it’s being phrased, the innuendo there is that somehow transgender women are predators of some kind in the locker room. There’s s a lot of narrative that is problematic that we need to address.”

It’s not a narrative. It’s reality.
I’ve written about Richard Cox before. He is a fully intact biological male (and a convicted sex offender) who kept children’s swim lesson schedules on his phone so he could go into female locker rooms and expose himself to women and girls. In January, a man was busted pleasuring himself in a Planet Fitness women’s restroom. A Maryland man pretended to be a woman to film women in a Planet Fitness locker room. In California, a woman was banned from a Gold’s Gym after objecting to a male in her locker room. In Illinois, Wisconsin, and Texas, girls were forced to change in front of biological boys in their locker rooms or face punishment.
Last December, I wrote about how data proved that “trans-inclusive” locker room policies enabled predators, including predators who filmed, assaulted, and raped women and girls. In 2023, three crimes per week were committed against women and girls in such locker rooms, and for the mathematically challenged, that’s 156 crimes in one year. One crime against women and girls should be unacceptable.
Instead, Reeve dismisses this reality as a “narrative” instead of the harmful reality it is. Women and girls are victimized by mentally ill men who use these “inclusive” policies to their sexual gratification, and Reeve is on their side.
The only way this ends—the only way—is for a man to come to the WNBA and demand to be admitted to the league as a player or a coach with full locker room privileges. Watch how quickly the WNBA officials and the players, all blasting Sophie Cunningham, start singing a different tune. Because the reality is this: outside of the insane state of Minnesota and leftist social circles, this is an 80-20 policy, and Reeve is on the losing side.
