Only Leftists Thought It Was ‘Taboo’ to Talk About the Migrant Rape Problem

She was 25 years old.

In 2012, the number of sexual assaults reported in England was around 16,000 annually. A little more than a decade later, that number skyrocketed to over 71,000 a year. In July, a damning report revealed that a quarter of a million British girls, most of them white and lower class, were systematically abused, raped, and sex trafficked by gangs of Muslim men.

Notice a pattern here?

I sure have, and for quite some time. 

But now that the problem has become too big to ignore, and a horde of Moroccan men recently invaded the Spanish city of Ceuta, some are starting to wake up to the fact that maybe it’s not racist or taboo to point out Islamic cultures are misogynistic and incompatible with Western society.

There are many others, too many. But still, there is something about the recent influx of thousands of young men from very different social and cultural backgrounds (approximately 70 per cent of asylum seekers are male) that feels increasingly alarming in the context of women’s safety.

If even a tiny percentage carry with them the openly misogynistic and sexist attitudes towards women that prevail in their countries of origin, shouldn’t we at least be concerned?

To even type those words feels deeply taboo; we are constantly being told it is wrong to characterise groups of people by the actions of just a few. And, of course, most immigrants are not a danger to anyone. But there is no denying cases of attacks on women by recent arrivals are far from rare these days.

The only people who found that talking about this was “taboo” were the leftists who believed that being perceived as “racist” was a worse crime than a woman being raped and/or murdered. The rest of us saw this for what it was years ago: a threat to women’s safety.

Now that we can finally have this conversation, there are only two paths forward: either England, the rest of Europe, and the Islamicized parts of the U.S. purge our societies of these troglodytes for the safety of women, or they demand women give up our rights and freedoms so as not to offend those troglodytes and subject ourselves to further abuse.

The first path is pretty straightforward: if these men aren’t used to cultures where women can walk around freely, go to school, hold jobs, and seek medical care, they can be transported to Islamic nations where that’s the norm. Problem solved.

The second path is the real culmination of The Handmaid’s Tale, one that will roll back women’s rights. It will start innocuously enough: we’re simply asked to wear hijabs in public. Places have already put feelers out on this, suggesting Western women don the garb in “solidarity” with Muslim women and even introducing it to girls in schools. From there, we will lose our right to go to school, to work outside the home, to speak or be seen in public without a male escort. I stopped going to the gym within walking distance of my house because Muslim men would sit and watch women — their wives, daughters, or sisters — work out in full Islamic garb. It was deeply disturbing and uncomfortable.

You can forget abortion rights. Forget equal pay. Forget the ability to live freely. All of that will be lost so we don’t offend the Muslims who find such behavior offensive to their religion. The hijab will give way to the burqa and the niqab. The red Handmaid’s robes would seem like a welcome respite.

Given the state of the world and the Left’s push to appease the Islamists, I fear the path we will take will be the second one. The people who thought it was taboo to say it’s wrong for Islamic men to rape and murder women don’t have the spine to remove those Islamic men from their countries. Instead, they’ll try more appeasement, and women will be the ones who lose.
