Patriot Front Returns Just in Time to Undermine America’s 250th Celebrations

You know how I know it was a success?

The Left trotted out ‘Patriot Front,’ the suspicious and supposed ‘white supremacist’ group that pops up every now and again to dominate the news cycle.

Saturday night offered a plethora of positive, patriotic images that showcased the best of America. This one is my personal favorite, but there are more.

But that’s not the focus now.

We get a week of media and Leftist pearl-clutching over images like this instead.

If you believe a Reuters photographer just coincidentally was on that train with a Black woman and a bunch of Patriot Front members to get that particular shot, I have a bridge to sell you.

I’ll note here that the woman has a seat, was not harmed, and made it home safely. Unlike Iryna Zarutska or Margaret Swan, the grandmother gunned down on Atlanta’s MARTA last month.

AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, is less astroturfed than this.

It’s been clear for a while that the Patriot Front is a well-funded group. I thought it was maybe the FBI’s work, but after the revelations about the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) paying hate groups to hate, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was their doing. Some Leftists will point out that Patriot Front wasn’t mentioned in the DOJ’s indictment against the SPLC, which doesn’t mean much beyond those Leftists accidentally admitting the DOJ was right to indict that hateful organization.

But I digress.

Regardless of who is funding them, the main reason I know it’s a bunch of hooey is that not a single journalist has tried to unmask and reveal a single member of Patriot Front. CNN hunted down an anonymous troll who made an unflattering gif of the network logo. The government hunted down anyone who even thought about the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Yet they’re wholly uninterested in tracking down and exposing these alleged ‘white supremacists.’ The media have no interest in getting these men fired from their jobs and ostracized from their communities? The Left learned that a pastor at Cities Church in Minneapolis works with ICE, and they invaded the worship service, terrifying congregants, including children. 

This lack of curiosity about a supposed white supremacist group just doesn’t track.

And, as someone pointed out to me in conversation, where’s Antifa? They have no problem showing up at any conservative protest to start trouble and attack protesters, but they — to the best of my knowledge — have never tried to start something with Patriot Front. That’s not a coincidence.

Absolutely none of this passes the smell test, but that doesn’t matter to the Left. They’ve got the headline that will dominate the news cycle now, and it’s not America’s 250th. It’s this staged demonstration of ‘white supremacy’ that is about as real as a Kardashian’s bosom.

It’s also rich that the people who have spent the better part of the last decade telling us that waving flags is free speech, while their goons block roads, burn cities, and harass law enforcement, are suddenly deeply concerned and offended by a bunch of masked men who showed up, waved flags, and left. The people who just spent the last three months insisting Nazi tattoos belong in the Senate do not get to lecture us about how Confederate flags do not belong on a sidewalk. 

I find the Pride flag deeply offensive, and I find the Palestinian flag deeply offensive. So do many other people. Yet the former is shoved down our throats every June, and the latter is treated as simply a symbol of resistance that we have to tolerate. Meanwhile, the Left will tell us that men peacefully waving flags and riding public transport are the greatest threat America’s ever seen.

It’s just not true.
