Protesters gather near White House, Washington Monument after strikes on Iran

WASHINGTON (7News) — Protestors have gathered around the White House after President Donald Trump announced the U.S. and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran.

Tens of thousands are expected to gather, according to organizers.

7News saw a large group already gathering by Lafayette Square.

March 4 Democracy (M4D) already planned a protest before the strikes were announced. Organizers said people were meeting near the Washington Monument at 2 p.m.
