The Fall River Police Department said that three people, including an 18-year-old accused of fatally shooting his 20-year-old brother, were arrested in connection with various firearm charges on March 13.

Jaylen Lambert, Christopher Gill, and Carson Underwood were facing multiple charges including carrying a loaded firearm, possessing a large capacity firearm, possessing ammunition without an FID card, and possessing a firearm with a defaced serial number.

Police executed a warrant at the Plymouth Avenue home of Gill in relation to a firearm-related case from September 2025.

Lambert and Underwood were also present at the residence, and a search allegedly found a loaded Smith & Wesson .380 Bodyguard handgun with a defaced serial number inside a bag with “Lambert” embroidered on it as well as a loaded Glock 43X 9mm handgun.

The department also alleged that none of the three suspects had a license to carry a firearm.

Lambert was charged with the murder of Jaleale Simmons on March 15, 2025, and was released due to being deemed “not dangerous.”
