As a lifelong angler and hunter, Allan Ellis moved to Maryland in 1984 and developed his skills as a communicator of all things outdoors. He is a publisher of several magazines and became a broadcaster of The Maryland Sportsman on WCBM 680 in December of 1988. The show changed its name to The Outdoorsman Radio Show in 2004 and continues to bring the latest on fishing, crabbing and hunting to his audience every Saturday morning at the crack of dawn. He enjoys the dialog with listeners and is often surprised by the variety of subjects his callers challenge him with.
