BALTIMORE (WBFF) — On Tuesday, Lady T partnered with La Chow and Chef Kae of Kaetered Kollective to surprise students from Arundel High School.
Students Jaiden Martin, Savonna Biggs, Aiyana Bell and Jomi Orungranti help run a barber and beauty program inside the school, known as the Arundel Barber & Beauty Salon.
They teach other students how to cut and style various types of hair for free.
It helps gives students who don’t have access to hair necessities a confidence boost.
The program was started by their teacher Robert Cradle, a longtime teacher and community advocate in Maryland.
Chef Kae provided Hibachi style meals for the students at La Chow and were visited by founder and owner Brandon Phillips.
Lady T also presented the students with their FOX45 Champions of Courage awards, recognizing their leadership and the difference they’re making inside their school community and continuing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy.
