The Strokes announce global tour, Merriweather Post Pavilion stop set for June 27, 2026

The Strokes are bringing their global tour to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, with a show set for June 27, Live Nation announced.

The band confirmed dates across North America, the U.K., Europe and Japan, with the tour kicking off in June and running through the fall. Thundercat and Hamilton Leithauser are scheduled to join the Merriweather Post Pavilion stop.

Tickets are set to go on sale Friday, April 17. Presales begin Wednesday, April 15, with fan registration available at thestrokes.com. To participate in the Artist Presale in North America, fans must sign up by Tuesday, April 14 at 9 a.m. ET.

The tour announcement comes as the New York City band prepares to release a new album. Reality Awaits, The Strokes’ seventh studio album, is set for release June 26 via Cult Records/RCA Records. The band released the first single from the album, “Going Shopping,” last week.

According to Live Nation, Reality Awaits was recorded in Costa Rica with producer Rick Rubin and finished around the globe. It marks the band’s first new music since 2020’s The New Abnormal, which was followed by extensive global touring.

The band is also coming off Coachella’s first weekend and has headline sets scheduled for Bonnaroo, Outside Lands and Japan’s Summer Sonic 2026, among other appearances this spring and summer.
