14-year-old arrested, two other suspects flee after robbery leads to crash in Fells Point

Three suspects, including at least one juvenile, robbed a 25-year-old man of his wallet on Friday night in Fells Point, police said.

On May 1 around 9:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1800 block of Lancaster Street, located in central Baltimore, for an unarmed robbery.

There, officers met a 25-year-old man who said he was assaulted and robbed by three unknown suspects, according to authorities.

The suspects took the victim’s wallet before getting into a silver Hyundai Sonata and fleeing the area.

The suspects then crashed the car near Broadway and Thames Streets, police said.

One suspect, identified as a 14-year-old boy, was arrested. The two other suspects escaped.

The victim’s wallet was found and returned to him, authorities said.
