Driver hits 7 parked cars, flips vehicle at Cabin John Village in Maryland

Three adults were hurt, and multiple vehicles were damaged after a rollover crash in a shopping center parking lot in Maryland on Sunday.

According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, the crash happened outside the Cabin John Shopping Center near Shake Shack in Potomac.

Fire officials said the driver, for unknown reasons, lost control of the vehicle, hitting seven other parked cars before the vehicle overturned.

The driver became trapped and had to be extricated by rescue crews.

Officials said three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Some occupants of the other vehicles were able to exit the vehicles on their own.

Authorities have not said what caused the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
