Harford County deputies, Baltimore police detain driver of hot pink moving truck

Harford County Sheriff’s deputies found themselves in southeast Baltimore on Friday night.

Multiple deputies convened at a gas station in the 6400 block of Eastern Avenue and surrounded a hot pink box truck around 9:45 p.m.

They could be seen working with Baltimore police to detain a person who had been driving the truck, which had the lettering, “PIECE OF CAKE MOVING & STORAGE,” on its side.

Two of the truck’s wheels were badly damaged. One tire had been shredded and another tire was missing altogether.

Piece of Cake Moving & Storage is a business based in New York City, according to the company’s website.

Baltimore police officers remained at the gas station until a tow truck could remove the truck.
