
BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Mercy Medical Center marked National Cancer Survivors Day on Sunday with an event honoring cancer survivors and bringing together patients, their loved ones, and medical staff.
The gathering took place at the Mary Catherine Bunting Center and was attended by cancer survivors, their families and friends, and Mercy oncologists and cancer experts.

Around 400 people were expected to attend the event.

The event included a formal program featuring special videos highlighting survivor stories, interactive talks, carnations for survivors, a physician meet-and-greet, and light refreshments.
