
BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A Baltimore teenager was charged with murder following a deadly shooting in the city’s central district in February, the department announced Monday.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested about 5 months after he allegedly shot and killed 35-year-old Quinton McLellan.
On Feb. 28, around 12:48 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found McLellan shot and unresponsive.

Medics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives responded and began an investigation.
Months later, on July 24, the teen was served his murder warrant while in Juvenile booking on an unrelated charge.
He has been charged as an adult with first degree murder, first degree assault, and additional charges.
